Instead of prescribing one fix for everyone, I use an individualized, holistic approach to help my clients tap into their intuition and uncover the food and lifestyle changes that will help them achieve their unique health goals.

Holistic Approach

I practice a holistic approach to health and wellness.

Rather than working to address individual symptoms, I am interested in supporting your whole body (and mind) to address the root causes of imbalance.

I go beyond food and nutrition to explore how all areas of your life are connected and affect your experiences. We are not only nourished by food, but also by other factors in our lives. Healthy relationships, a fulfilling career, regular physical activity and a spiritual practice are essential forms of nourishment. When these “primary foods” are balanced, what you eat becomes secondary. How do stress, your job, your relationships, exercise, sleep patterns, etc. influence your health?

Individualized Approach

I practice based on the concept of bioindividuality, which acknowledges that each person has his or her own food and lifestyle needs. There is no one right way to eat, work, exercise, etc. that works for all people, or even that works for the same person at all points in their life. The failure to account for our bioindividuality is one of the reasons that fad diets tend to fail in the long run.

I will support you, through your customized program, to make positive changes based on your unique needs, lifestyle, preferences, and personal goals. You will develop a deeper understanding of the foods and lifestyle choices that work best for you and you will implement lasting changes to improve your energy, health, and happiness.

Facilitative Approach

Rather than telling my clients what to eat and how to exercise, I practice a facilitative approach. I’ll make suggestions, but my primary goal is to empower my clients to make their own decisions about what does and doesn’t work for them. I’d like to guide you to find the food and lifestyle choices that will best support you on your path to a healthier, happier life. With my support, you will make gradual, lasting changes that enable you to reach your current and future health goals.
